Destination guide · Campania
The coast is close. Access matters.
Naples, Capri, Ischia and the Amalfi coast offer different days within the same region. The important choice is not how many names fit on the route, but where you want to spend time and how the yacht will get you comfortably ashore.

Choose the arrival, not just the view
A night alongside, a night at anchor and a tender visit produce different experiences of the same town. Discuss these options while the route is still a brief.
Ask for the distinction
Which berths are confirmed, which are requested and which stops depend on conditions? Include boarding needs and the return from dinner ashore.
What do you want from Capri?
A view of the Faraglioni, a swim, an afternoon ashore and an overnight stay need not belong to the same plan. Name the experience that matters before making Capri the fixed centre of every day.
Compare a shorter visit with time around Ischia or Procida. Ask how crowding, transfers and conditions could alter the day.
Let protected areas shape the route
Ask the operator to check current anchoring, mooring and activity rules in protected areas, including around Punta Campanella, for the proposed stops.
A photograph off a landmark does not establish permission to anchor there. Ask for an alternative that preserves the experience if the preferred stop is unavailable.
Decide how much bustle you want
Ferragosto and summer holidays are useful context for a Campania trip. Compare your appetite for busy towns and evenings ashore with the desire for slower days afloat.
If dates are flexible, request comparable plans for different weeks. Check actual availability instead of assuming another month will be cheaper or empty.
Islands, coast, or a little of both?
| Direction | A useful question |
|---|---|
| Naples, Procida and Ischia | Would island days satisfy the group without covering the whole coast? |
| Capri | Is the priority the coastline, town or overnight stay? |
| Positano and Amalfi | How will shore access work for the yacht and guests? |
| Salerno | Would a different endpoint improve the trip, and is it possible? |
These are choices to discuss, not a navigation itinerary or a fixed sequence.
Price the way you want to travel
Compare quotations with the same dates, route assumptions and embarkation points. Berthing, fuel, tender use and dining ashore belong alongside the charter fee.
Ask which taxes, allowances and cancellation terms apply to the agreement. This guide has no live pricing, inventory or berth allocation.
Questions
Verify that request for the exact yacht and dates. Ask which arrangements are confirmed and what replaces an unavailable berth.
Compare comfort with berth compatibility and tender access. More interior space does not necessarily make getting ashore easier.
Review the additional passage time first. A separate trip may preserve more of the time you want in Campania.
